Today’s card

By on 30/06/2015

Today’s card again features the wonderful You’ve Got This Stamp Set from Stampin’ UP!  I’ve chosen a neutral palette for this card as I find that my classes really enjoy the combinations we can achieve with neutrals.

DSC02914I started with one of my Clear stamp blocks which I used as a stamp by inking it up with Tip Top Taupe (one of this year’s new In Colors).  I stamped this onto whisper white cardstock for my background then Versamarked my flower image and heat embossed in black embossing powder.

I used blender pens to move the ink around on some of my petals to add interest, and with a little bit of pretty lace (also from Stampin’ UP!) Voila.

I hope you like my card, thank you for visiting.  Your comments would be most welcome.

Anniversary Card

By on 25/06/2015

Dull morning here in Melbourne, but a perfect day for crafting, any day is good for crafting mind.

Spent a lovely afternoon with a friend yesterday making cards. Here is yesterday’s haul.  I have to thank the very talented Sandi MacIver for the delightful little Geisha box, fashioned from a Stampin’ UP! die called Curvy Keepsakes.

I was particularly pleased with the Anniversary Card, which has a finished size of 5 ¾” Square.  I used another Stampin’ UP! die to make this card.  I will add a list of products used at the bottom of this post.

Thanks also go to Kerstin Kreis for the layered card on the left, which I altered very slightly and added my own sentiments.

I hope you enjoy these creations.

Summer rose 1

Last Rose of Summer

By on 23/06/2015

I pruned the last of the summer roses today.  This little one has hung in right until the last, but I had to get the job finished before the really cold weather sets in.  I finally found something that matches my old typewriter perfectly.Summer rose 1

I will enjoy this pretty rose for the next few days, can’t wait to see the buds in spring and do it all over again. The roses were particularly good this year.

How cute are these little critters?  The Stamp Set is called Barnyard Babies and I can see so many possibilities, I’m sure I will be posting more cards using this set.  The trees are made using the Stampin’ UP! tree punch.

If you would like more information about any of the products used to make this card please leave a message and I will get back to you.

Happy Stamping.

Just Can’t Resist – “You’ve Got This” Stamp Set

You've Got This silver (1)Today’s card was inspired by a card seen on Pinterest. It was created using all Stampin’ UP! materials.

The images are from a New Stamp Set in the just released Annual Stampin’ UP! catalogue and is called:  “You’ve Got This.”  More cards made with this stamp set below.

I have implemented some of the new Stampin’ UP! In Colours in both of these cards, namely Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron.  They sound almost good enough to eat? I have used a different stamp set for the flower image in the green (Mint Macaron) card called “Butterfly Basics.”

All items used in the making of these cards are from Stampin’ UP!
